Bio
I Opened Type Foundry Recording Studio in 1997 in a small modest space on SE 18th/Burnside in Portland, Oregon which has since been remodeled into a hip, modern apartment adjacent to the now defunct music venue Nocturnal. In 2001 it moved into its current location in the North Portland industrial area around N Interstate & N Tillamook. The "not so new anymore" space is quite a bit larger and over the years the studio has usurped 3 partners and quite a mass of recording gear. Please visit our website for a complete list.
When not in the studio, I'm usually playing guitar & singing with my band Norfolk & Western as well as my new musical endeavor Alialujah Choir which is a collaboration with Adam Shearer of Weinland and Alia Farah. We sing lots of harmonies. I can also often be found on tour playing bass & guitar for M. Ward. Thats probably enough. Feel free to email me- I will respond and will enjoy hearing from you!
